5 out of 5 starsThis hand forged pillar candle holder exhibits superb craftsmanship. The markings from the process are in its body and give it that handmade quality. The design is lovely with the scroll at one end then an ample cup to hold a pillar or jar candle. It’s a classic of functional beauty. It arrived when expected and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this forge.

Frequently asked questions
Are your pieces made of steel or iron?
We use mild steel which is an alloy of iron. So, in a way, our work is made of both since mild steel contains iron.
When can I expect to receive my package?
Our turnaround time is five business days (sometimes faster). We use Canada Post within Canada, which usually take about 5-8 business days but you can expect it to take longer at this time due to COVID-related delays. US packages are delivered by USPS which also usually takes about 6-9
business days but you can expect it to take longer due to COVID-related delays. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the exact time of your package’s arrival. Visit our shipping policies for more details.
Is there any care and maintenance to do on the pieces?
All of our pieces are finished with natural Nova Scotia beeswax. To preserve this finish you should avoid all moisture. Pieces can be dusted or cleaned with a dry cloth. If, over time there is exposure to moisture, your piece may begin to patina. If this change is undesirable, you can use steel wool to dust off the rust and then reapply beeswax rubbing it into the exposed steel.
